The latest entry into the Guilty Gear franchise (a pedigree that started way back in 1998), Guilty Gear Strive, is proving to be the most ambitious entry yet. Fans are seeing more and more how this title is going to be as the game draws nearer to its release date in April 2021.

The trailer provided us with a great deal of content that fans can look forward to when the game launches in a few months. Showcasing six minutes of gameplay footage with commentary on the different modes and features that the game has to offer, the new trailer highlighted the fact that the extra time it took the studio to develop the game was well-spent. Fans may change their mind about the delays when they see the game modes available at launch. As far as we can tell, the different game modes provide players with multiple options on how to enjoy Guilty Gear Strive.

For single-player, players can choose from the likes of Tutorial Mode, Arcade Mode, Survival Mode, Mission Mode, and Versus Mode. All these contribute to how you can get used to playing the game and work your way into learning the mechanics and ability combinations of several characters. They also offer various scenarios where you can hone and test your skills.

For online multiplayer, the game offers Training Mode, Online Mode, Online Lobby, Player Match, and Replay Theater. These not only give players matchmaking options but also a way to interact with others having similar skill levels so they can develop a competitive edge.

For players looking to indulge in the world of Guilty Gear, the game too offers Story mode, GG World Mode, and Gallery Mode. This way, even newcomers to the franchise can get to know the world of Guilty Gear Strive and previous entries.

Arc Systems also promised constant post-launch updates to keep the game interactive in the long run.
