There's still a month left before different countries compete in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup. Players of EA Sports FIFA 23 can enjoy the matches early courtesy of an upcoming DLC. The FIFA Women's World Cup Australia and New Zealand 2023is arriving on June 27 and free for everyone.
Players get the chance not only to represent their country's colors but also live the tournament in what may be the most immersive experience for an EA Sports FIFA Women's World Cup. This upcoming content brings 32 qualified nations, custom stadium dressings, cinematics, match presentations, dedicated commentary, and even the authentic trophy that can be hoisted at the end.
Here's what players can expect in this upcoming DLC:
- Presentation
- Offers an experience which mirrors the authentic details of the tournament, including the match ball, stadium dressings, trophy, and stadium that'll hold the FIFA Women's World Cup Final.
- Game Modes
- Represent your country and lead the team as a star of the game or as your very own custom player.
- Play through the competition in either a single-player tournament mode or in kick-off mode.
- Lead Your Country
- Put yourself at the heart of the tournament through a brand-new game mode where you can step into the boots of one specific player leading their nation to glory.
- As you play through the stages, you have the choice to control just that player or the whole national team as you lead your country all the way to the trophy.
- Tournament Mode
- Play through the authentic FIFA Women's World Cup in a single-player tournament mode; write, or even rewrite, the future for your nation.
- You can select one of the 32 qualified countries and play your way out of your true-to-life group and through the knockouts toward FIFA Women's World Cup glory.

- Experience the FIFA Women's World Cup in a kick-off match against friends locally or against the AI.
- Choose from a Group Stage or Knockout Round match and two of the 32 qualified nations.
