Famicom Mini Console Announced For Japan; To Release In November

When the NES Mini Console was announced, it was not going to be sold in Japan. However, Nintendo’s plan for the Japanese market was to not bring the NES Mini but the classic Famicom in its Mini form.

Based on the original Famicom that released in 1983, the Famicom Mini like the NES that was announced a few months back will come pre-loaded with 30 classic games. However unlike the NES Mini, the Famicom Mini will come with controllers hardwired to the console, so you can’t use it anywhere else.

The miniature console will sell for about $59.
