Fallout 4 mods are coming to Xbox One after the release of the Far Harbor DLC Bethesda

Fallout 4 developer Bethesda hasn’t officially announced when mods will be coming to Xbox One owners, but we do know it will be by the end of May. Additionally, those who are interested can sign up to get into the mods beta program right now.

To sign up, gamers will need a Bethesda account and an Xbox Live gamertag.

No formal date for the beta start date has been mentioned, or when the final version will be released to everyone. We do know that the beta will be coming after the release of Far Harbor, the next big DLC expansion to Fallout 4. Far Harbor is coming out May 19, so the beta will probably be coming around a week afterwards.

As for PS4 gamers, they’ll just have to wait until more information is announced. We’ve known for a long time now that the Xbox One will be getting mods first, so hopefully the process to bring them over to PS4 isn’t that difficult.

As for the mods themselves, more than a million have already been downloaded on PC. It’s unsure what mods will be able to work on consoles, but it’s safe to say we’ll be seeing a nude mod roughly 20 seconds after mods get made available.

So what do you think? Are you excited to see mods coming to consoles? What other games do you want mods on consoles for? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
