If you're one of those who've heard about EVERCORE Heroes and curious about what it is about, we have good news. A closed beta for the game is scheduled to begin on June 20.

The closed beta includes three unique stages, with each having its own set of items, enemies, and a unique head-to-head encounter. Players can access 16 heroes including the eight new additions to the roster.

The closed beta is available on PC and those who want to be among the first to play it can secure a spot by buying the Founder's Pack. In addition to the exclusive access, this pack also comes with extra keys which can be shared with friends, exclusive content, and even a battle pass that never expires.

Any progress made during the closed beta, along with purchases made and in-game items earned, are carried over to the full game at launch.

In a statement, Vela Games CEO and Co-Founder Travis George revealed that the game isn't a MOBA or even an MMO. He added that with this game, they wanted to offer a new competitive PvE experience which features deep mastery combined with focus on cooperative teamplay. He went on to say that they believe fans of PvE and PvP will enjoy the game.

George shared that since the announcement and pre-alpha testing, their team has been working hard to make sure that the title is the best game it can be. He ended by saying that they're excited for more people to try it, give feedback, and continue to help the team to make the game better before it's officially launched.

Gameplay

In each match, the PvE session is between four teams with four heroes each. To win, players need to power up their heroes and charge their Evercore. They need to survive the onslaughts of dangerous beasts and succeed in the final head-to-head challenge. They have to work together if they want to outplay other teams, especially during critical moments of the match. The winning team is the one with the right composition and strategy, and can balance the trade-offs between building their own power and making the battle more difficult for opponents.
