Dungeoneer Gets Huge Redesign in Latest Update

Dungeoneer
Dungeoneer Steam

Dungeoneer is a 3D dungeon-crawler action RPG that follows the old-school feel and style of the genre. You can choose from a total of six classes and each hero has five skills to start with. Developed by Alex Luna, this game continues to get consistent updates and improvements.

The latest update for Dungeoneer brings back the randomly generated dungeons. In this case, the new dungeons will consist of multiple randomly-generated zones, which help give that “open area” feel. Because of this change, the old dungeons before this update no longer exist in the game.

New user interface elements have also been added, including the active quest tracker to help you find your way when completing mission objectives, a mini-map that will help you know the direction you’re heading, and a positive buff bar so you’ll always keep track of the boons you currently have.

Waypoints, a staple in many action RPGs including Path of Exile and Diablo Immortal, are now available in Dungeoneer as well. These waypoints act as points of travel and sort of a “last checkpoint” where you will revive when killed.
