It’s official! Dragon Quest Builders 2 announced that more than 1.1 million units have been shipped and downloaded worldwide. In celebration of this milestone, the block-building role-playing game is releasing some special artwork along with a thank you video.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is a follow-up to the acclaimed Dragon Quest Builders game released in 2016. The sequel, described as “bigger, better, and buildier,” is not just a fan-favorite, but has been applauded by critics as well. It continues to win hearts with its brand-new original story, loveable characters, expansive world, and online multiplayer capabilities.

In Dragon Quest Builders 2, players take on the role of a young apprentice builder who escapes the Children of Hargon and is washed up on the Isle of Awakening. You wake up alongside a mysterious youth named Malroth, who is suffering from amnesia. Together you go on a grand adventure and explore different islands all the while gathering and developing the skills required to become a full-fledged builder. There are many ways you can become a “Master Builder,” including helping the townsfolk, crafting materials, or engaging in enemy battles.

As the game progresses, you are going to discover that the road you build is paved with peril. With the rest of the builders of the world captured by the calamitous cult, only you can defeat the Children of Hargon.

The Season Pass is also available to purchase separately for $20.99.
