Roster makes a surprise decision. Alliance

If Dota 2 fans were surprised with what Kuro "KuroKy" Salehi Takhasomi and the gang did with Team Liquid, then they haven't seen anything yet. It appears that Alliance is the next organization experiencing a massive roster shuffle. Just how big? The whole roster made the decision to leave Alliance and join another organization.

During The International 2019, the team was composed of Michael "miCKe" Vu, Maximilian "qojqva" Bröcker, Samuel "Boxi" Svahn, Tommy "taiga" le, and Aydin "iNSaNiA" Sarkohi. At the Group Stage, Alliance was in the bottom four, resulting in them going to the Lower Bracket. Luck would not be on their side as they were eliminated by Chinese team Royal Never Give Up.

There was the expectation that Alliance would fall victim to the post-TI9 roster shuffle. However, team co-owner Kelly “kellyMILKIES” Ong revealed that Alliance was not making any changes. You can read more about this particular story here.

According to the organization, the entire roster expressed their intention to try a new environment, and after a series of discussions, agreed to mutually part ways.

In a statement, coach Jonathan "Loda" Berg said that it was a sad day for Alliance, but they "are also happy and proud to have gone through this journey together, to have been able to grow with them during such an important part of their careers."

For his part, iNSaNiA thanked the organization for everything they did and how Alliance believed in them through the roughest times. He added that he is "glad to have worked with such wonderful people who have helped me grow not only as a Dota player but also as a person." Meanwhile miCKe said that there have been "a lot of ups and downs but what matters the most is that you guys were there to support us at our lowest."

While there is no word yet on who Alliance is planning to sign to the roster, the original TI3 roster is currently competing together for the Midas Mode 2.0.

Alliance did confirm that with The International 10 set to be held in their home turf of Stockholm, Sweden, they remain dedicated in building a new roster with the goal of playing at the main stage of next year's TI.
