You know that the new DPC is almost here when different Dota 2 teams are making big changes. In Western Europe, Team Secret made a surprise move and released Michał "Nisha" Jankowski. Meanwhile, Nigma Galaxy welcomes Daniel "ImmortalFaith" Moza as its new head coach.

A Surprise Move

We say that this was a surprise move from Secret because aside from Clement "Puppey" Ivanov, Nisha was a long-time member of the team. For those who want to keep count, Nisha has been with Secret since 2018 and that’s three TIs. In addition, Secret did finish second at the recently concluded The International 2022.

During his stint with Secret, it's clear that he has grown a lot under the tutelage of Puppey. For example, he became the first player from Poland to attend TI. Then, in 2020, he was named as Esports PC player of the Year.

Not much has been revealed about his departure from the team except Puppey saying that he cherishes their "time together" and understands completely "his decision to move on."

Replacing Nisha is Czech player Miroslav "BOOM" Bičan. Before joining Secret, he was part of Gaimin Gladiators, the same Gaimin Gladiators roster that finished fourth at the Stockholm Major 2022 and got a direct invite to The International 2022.

In a statement, Puppey revealed that BOOM had managed to progress as a midlaner year after year. He added that as someone who is young, hungry, and talented, he is "a great fit to the team." Considering the progress Nisha made under the guidance of Puppey, it's indeed exciting to see how far BOOM would go.

A New Path

Roman "rmN-" Paley was signed in when the former roster of Team Liquid decided to make their own team, which was Nigma Galaxy. He wasn't only the coach but even served as a stand-in in 2021 when Kuro "KuroKy" Takhasomi wasn't able to play. As Nigma Galaxy, the team hasn't been fortunate enough to participate in big tournaments, especially missing the last two TIs.

As such, it's no surprise that Nigma Galaxy decided to let him go, and replacing him as head coach is Daniel "ImmortalFaith" Moza. He started his coaching career in 2019 under Vikin.gg, then he went to Team Tickles and Gaimin Gladiators. It's going to be exciting to see what he’ll bring to the table and how he's going to impact the team.
