Qualifiers for the upcoming MDL Disneyland Paris Major are finally done, and 14 Dota 2 teams have entered the lineup. The only remaining matches are for the last slot of the North American region and the OGA Dota Pit Minor.

In the Europe region, top Dota 2 teams Team Secret and Team Liquid easily obtained the first two slots. The final slot went to OG, winning 2-0 against Alliance in Round 1 of the Lower Bracket and beating The Final Tribe 2-0 in the next round. The qualifiers mark the return of Anathan "ana" Pham to OG.

For the CIS region, Virtus.pro got the first slot. The second slot was fought by the rest of the teams in the region, with Team Empire coming out on top and taking the final slot.

The South America Qualifiers featured Butterfly Effec dominating the qualifiers and getting the first slot. The second slot went to Chaos Esports Club. However, as of March 30, it was reported that Butterfy Effec was signed on by paiN Gaming.

The China region, which has a number of good Dota 2 teams, saw Vici Gaming and PSG.LGD taking the lead in the Group Stage. However, the first slot went to Keen Gaming after the team beat VG 2-0. The second game included PSG defeating Newbee 2-0, with PSG going for Phantom Assassin, Grimstroke and Magnataur in both games. The Lower Bracket had VG defeating EHOME 2-0 and then later Royal, also 2-0, to get the final slot. Dota 2 team EHOME again had a poor showing, winning only two games out of a total of eight played.

The Southeast Asia region featured eight teams battling it out for two slots. The fights centered on the region’s top three teams: Fnatic, Mineski, and TNC Predator. Fnatic took control of Group A and the Upper Bracket, handing Mineski a 2-0 defeat. In the Upper Bracket Final, TNC won the first game, but the next two went in favor of Fnatic to get the first slot. In the Lower Bracket Final, TNC won the first game against Mineski. However, much like the previous match, Mineski won the next two and earned the final slot. Despite the hype surrounding the Tigers, they were eliminated after the Group Stage.

For the North America region, the first two slots were won by Evil Geniuses and compLexity Gaming. The last slot, as of this writing, is being fought by J.Storm, Team Team, Forward Gaming, and Team Xolotl.

Teams who have been eliminated still have a shot at the Major by winning the OGA Dota PIT Minor 2019. It should be worth noting that DreamLeague Season 11 champion VG took the very same route, winning the minor to qualify and later winning the tournament.
