Dota 2 OMEGA League: Team Secret And Team Nigma Lead After Group Stage

The Group Stage of the Dota 2 OMEGA League Europe Immortal Division is finally over. This means that some interesting matches are ahead as we move to the Playoffs. Leading the pack in Group A is Team Nigma, who boasts of a 4–1 standing. Meanwhile, for Group B it’s none other than Team Secret who brings with them a strong 5–0 standing.

Group Stage Results

Let’s start with Group A. Team Nigma took the lead, losing only to Evil Geniuses. Nigma joined this tournament without its Team Captain, Kuro “KuroKy” Salehi Takhasomi, who is still out due to an injury. Following Nigma in the upper bracket is none other than EG.

For Group B, Team Secret continues to show strong performance, having lost only one game against Team Liquid despite still winning the match. Secret managed to sweep all the other teams in their group at 2–0.

Meanwhile, for the Lower Bracket, Virtus.pro managed to snag a spot. Alliance also managed to get a spot by beating out FlyToMoon in the Play-in Stage. Vikin.gg was also able to secure a spot in the Playoffs through the Lower Bracket.

The final spot is going to be the winner of the match between Team Liquid and 5men.

Playoffs

Initial matches for the OMEGA League Playoffs are starting this week with Lower Bracket matches on September 2 and September 3. For the Upper Bracket, it’s going to be Nigma versus OG on September 3, with Secret going against EG on September 4.

Other Divisions

Heading over to the EU Divine Division, FlyToMoon secured a spot in Round 2 of the Playoffs as the loser of the Play-in Stage of the EU Immortal Division. Their opponent is going to be the winner of the match between Cyber Legacy and Ninjas in Pyjamas.

For the other side of the bracket, whoever loses in the Team Liquid versus 5men match gets the spot in Round 2 of the Playoffs. They’re going to be facing whoever wins in the match between Natus Vincere and HellRaisers.

Over at the Americas Divine Division, the 4 Zoomers have secured a spot for the Upper Bracket Finals after a 2–0 win versus Thunder Predator. The 4 Zoomers now wait for the winner of the beastcoast versus Quincy Crew match.

In the Divine Division Lower Bracket, Thunder Predator managed to stave off elimination after beating Omega Gaming.

Meanwhile in the Americas Ancient Division, it’s the Semifinals. The first pair of matches has business associates going against Team Brasil and the second includes xixihaha versus Pace University.
