Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 is launching on Steam, March 9, 2023, the sequel to the digital voyeur simulator Do Not Feed the Monkeys. For those excited about the new game, there’s a free demo available on Steam, which offers up to an hour of gameplay.

The sequel starts where the first game left off. Players take on the role of master voyeurs that use security cameras to spy on strangers, letting them observe and analyze each aspect of these strangers’ day-to-day lives. The game is clearly a satirical preview of a possible future where all our intimate secrets are being used as currency.

In a statement, Fictiorama Studios co-founder Luis Oliván revealed that they’re able to offer Do Not Feed the Monkeys 2099 to all players. He added that while they made sure that the sequel was faithful to the original, there are also new toys available in this game.

    • It’s 2099 and alien knowledge has pushed rapid technological advancements to the point that big corporations are now sponsoring planets.
    • Earth has become a wasteland after being stripped of resources.
    • Humanity has spread out across the galaxies.
    • Humans are now living side-by-side with aliens and robots.
  • Next-gen Spying Tools
    • The MonkeyVision app helps players manage hidden cameras and monitor cages.
    • Make observations and search the internet to learn more about each subject.
    • For those who need more cameras, they can pick up side jobs for money while avoiding the wacky conspiracy theorist next door.
  • Fresh Technology
    • Gone are the days of surveillance solitude.
    • OmniPals are artificial intelligence represented by holograms and act as company promoters.
    • They also act as another window into the outside world and may offer some other handy functions.
  • Endgame Content
    • Those able to finish the game get access to new and exciting features.
    • These include Fast Forwarding or a peephole so that it's possible to get a sneak peek at who's knocking on the door.
  • Absolutely No Monkey Feeding
    • Become familiar with the subjects and get the chance to interact with them.
    • Hack security systems, make threatening phone calls, or put your own flavor in an unusual beverage.
