The Division 2 Ready To Wrap Up Season 1

Almost done.
Almost done. Ubisoft

Back in March of this year, The Division 2 introduced the new season of Warlords of New York. This was dubbed as Shadow Tide, and offered players a host of new features. You can read more about that here.

For those looking for updates, Season 1 is almost at an end and today we look at what things are going to help bring the season to a close.

Manhunt

As of this week, all of the five Manhunt targets are available. These are Neptune, Venus, Saturn, Mercury, and the Prime Target: Jupiter. At the start of the season, each of these was introduced one at a time, though they’re now all available. This means that in order to take down Jupiter, players need to go through the other four first. However, it won’t be that easy. Each of the Agents before Jupiter comes with their own manhunt. This means that players need to go through subordinates first.

Taking down each agent rewards players with individual progress along with a variant of the EMP Sticky Bomb skill tied to the specific Agent. Meanwhile, players who manage to bring down Jupiter get rewarded with the EMP Sticky Bomb Launcher skill variant, which is going to be a permanent new addition.

While the unique Season skill variant may only be available through the Manhunt, The Division 2 revealed that the upgrade may be available through gameplay in the near future. That should be a bit of good news for those who are likely going to miss getting the skill this time around.

Season Rewards

When Season 1 ends, it means that the chance for players to earn Seasonal Levels will also end. For those who haven’t been able to grab them, rewards include the rank 3 Coyote’s Mask Exotic, Named Items, and Caches. Then there’s also the Seasonal loot like the Striker and System Corruption Gear Sets and cosmetic rewards like the Striker Outfit, weapons skins, gear dyes, and unique patches.

For those who failed to get Seasonal gear, here's another bit of good news: they’re going to be available through normal gameplay once the Season ends. However, cosmetic rewards will no longer be available once the Season ends.

Of course, when Season 1 ends Season 2 will begin. New content is going to be freely available to all those who have Warlords of New York. Meanwhile, the Season Pass is going to be a standalone purchase available for 1000 Premium Credits.
