Devour Update 1.3: Batteries Changes, Bug Fixes, and More

DEVOUR steam

Devour developer, Joe Fender, recently released a new update that made some changes and fixed bugs. Possibly the biggest changes from this update are in batteries. These were originally designed to make the game challenging but some players find them way too punishing.

As such, batteries are now an optional game mechanic. They are now usable to instantly recharge your UV flashlight and give additional charge depending on the difficulty. So, the harder the difficulty is, the less amount of charge is. Batteries will now respawn on the map after use, though the number of batteries the player receives will scale. The lower the difficulty is, the more batteries are available in the game world.
