Things just got even more interesting as Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition's Switch port will offer a bunch of new features. The first of these is the new seamless style feature. With this, players should be able to seamlessly switch combat styles.

This new feature was confirmed in a special video message through Twitter. In the game, players get access to six combat styles, with four being available in the beginning with the other two unlocking as players progress. This new feature allows players to seamlessly switch between the different styles, making combat flow much more freely.

It's not just about switching between styles as the new gameplay feature also brings with it more fluid combat options. This should allow players to get more opportunities to perform the many different moves and new SSStylish combos.

This is but one of the many features that are going to be offered with the Switch version of Devil May Cry 3. The other features are going to be revealed on January 30 and February 13.

Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is a prequel to the well-known Devil May Cry action franchise. Set years before the original Devil May Cry game, Devil May Cry 3's story follows Dante's journey that eventually leads to him going against his brother Vergil. Vergil is planning to unlock the demonic world and release demons. The only thing that stands in his way is Dante and his trademark Rebellion sword and dual pistols Ebony and Ivory. Along the way, players will get a better understanding of the franchise's many aspects like Dante's first encounter with Lady or the beginnings of his shop.

The version arriving for the Nintendo Switch offers the full stylish action package. It even offers Vergil as a playable character along with 9,999 floors of the “Bloody Palace” survival mode. In addition, the handheld mode of the Switch gives players the added flexibility of playing on-the-go.

Pre-purchase of Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is now available from the Nintendo eShop for the Nintendo Switch for $19.99. North American players who pre-purchase the game gets a 50% discount on purchases of Devil May Cry and/or Devil May Cry 2. Devil May Cry 3 Special Edition is set to be released on February 20.
