Destiny 2: What's New This Week

Season of the Splicer
Season of the Splicer Bungie

Destiny 2’s weekly TWAB or “This Week at Bungie” is here and game developer Bungie has a lot to unpack here.

First of all, the new Destiny 2: Season of the Splicer is now available on PC, Xbox, and Playstation 4 consoles. While there is a hype surrounding the new season, players are met with a bevy of “Honeydew” errors.

For those who do not know, the honeydew error is when a player is unable to land on a planet. In other words, they get kicked out after the loading screen animation finishes.

The developer apologized for the inconvenience and is already working on a fix.

New Weapons from Gambit, Crucible, and Vanguard Strikes

If you are a fan of the Crucible, Vanguard Strikes, or Gambit, each of these activities will reward you with some weapons.

Aside from that, once you log in for the first time this season, you should be given a quest that will help you unlock the Null Composure fusion rifle. You need this rifle to unlock weapons from those activities.

Completing the three will give you themed weapon ornaments as well. There are 12 unlockable weapons, so good luck and have fun!

The Iron Banner

PvP fans will be happy to know that the first Iron Banner this season will be available next week.

And as promised, the developer will be releasing two new Year-1 weapons up for grabs just for participating in the event.

The Iron Banner will start on May 18 at 1 p.m. EST and will end on May 25 at 1 p.m. EST.

Hotfix 3.2.0.0

The game has suffered from a couple of known issues but it is a good thing to know that the developers are on top of the situation.

Just recently, Bungie released Hotfix 3.2.0.0 to address these issues, including the crash when players sign in and the unusual access of players to the unreleased crossplay feature.

Several exciting things will happen next week but which of these are you excited about the most?
