Destiny 2 forbes

Bungie’s next update for Destiny 2, Beyond Light, will be delayed until this coming November, which gives you plenty of time to prepare. One of the biggest problems with every Destiny 2 update is that Bungie adds a lot of weapons and items to the game, which eventually fill your storage/vault. A normal player will have almost 400+ unnecessary items which won’t even be useful in the future.

The new update will bring in tons of content related to Beyond Light, and this gear will have really good stats with new elemental features. To make storage issues worse, many players don’t even know what to remove from their vault because almost all of the weapons look so similar.

To help out with the issue, we recommend that you delete gear according to the symbols on the items or the rarity of the item. The rarity of items are classified as Common, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, and Exotic. In terms of seasons, the gear can be sorted by Red War, Curse of Osiris, Warmind, Forsaken, Black Armory, Season of the Drifter, Season of Opulence, Shadowkeep, and Season of The Undying. We recommend that you keep all of your exotics and, if you have duplicates, you can discard them for legendary shards. But don’t worry if you end up dumping something that you later want, as you can always restore the exotic items from the collection tab in the game.

We also recommend that you keep all the items you use regularly. If you have full collections of a certain set, like the Dreambane set, for example, it will help you get a small bonus. But this won’t be worth it in the long run. It’s best to make a build which helps you deal more damage and increases your mobility. Some exotics aren’t even worth the space, as they barely deal any damage unless they are masterworked, which takes a lot of time and effort.

So, what are your plans for clearing your inventory for the upcoming Beyond Light update? Do you think Bungie is going to introduce some overpowered weapons and armor? What do you think the new elements are going to be and how will it affect the game? Whatever your thoughts may be, let us know in the comments below.
