The newest Archives’ tome for Dead by Daylight is now available. Tome 14: BETRAYAL pulls players even deeper to the world first introduced in the Forged in Fog Chapter, and offers new stories for The Knight and Vittorio Toscano. Players can also look forward to getting medieval-inspired cosmetic rewards along with Rift challenges focused on The Knight and Vittorio.
In this newest tome, players are asked to follow Tarhos Kovacs, aka The Knight, as he rejects the chivalric code and goes down a path of blood and power. There’s also the tale of Vittorio Toscano, a survivor doomed to eons wandering The Entity’s Realms.
New Challenges
To progress further in the tome and the associated rift, players need to complete challenges. The tomes are separated into different levels with each having a new layout for the Auris Web, plus more challenges, lore entries, Bloodpoints, and Rift Fragments.
See if you can master The Knight, Vittorio Toscano, and their respective perks through character-specific gameplay challenges. In addition, survivors also need to contend with Blue Glyphs, which inflict them with either Blindness or Oblivious.
Lunar New Year Event
The Year of the Rabbit is here and to celebrate, everyone is invited to join The Moonlight Burrow event. In this one, the Entity’s Realm is going to showcase seasonal decorations, boosted Bloodpoints, and themed cosmetic rewards. Keep a lookout for rabbit-themed Paper Lanterns scattered across the Trials. When triggered, these Paper Lanterns give players a speed buff. Of course, the hidden Red Envelopes are back which reward cosmetics and Bloodpoints.
New Collections
Last Tuesday, January 24, two new collections were released. The first was the Resident Evil x Lunar New Year Collection, which featured fashionable and tactical very rare outfits for both Jill Valentine and Ada Wong. It also includes a legendary outfit transforming The Blight into the "First Form G," once known as William Birkin.
The second was the Moonlight Burrow Collection. It offered ensembles for Feng Min and Vittorio Toscano that matched the Lunar New Year’s celebration in The Fog.
Dead by Daylight is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS.
