Counter-Strike: Global Offensive released an update early this week that not only affects gameplay, but also fixes a major issue that players are sure to love. We are talking about the loss bonus money. According to the update, the loss bonus money "now always step down to $2,900 after a team with a $3,400 max loss bonus streak wins a round."

Why is this a big change you ask? For those not familiar, loss bonus money is what the losing team receives. If a team experiences a losing streak, that loss bonus money increases. Thus, when a team loses at least five straight rounds, the team receives $3,400.

This means that if a team wins a round after losing more than five successive rounds, then immediately loses the one after that, they will receive $2900 instead of $3400. If they win the next round and then lose the next round after that, the team continues to receive $3,400. With this update, the team now receives $2,900 rather than $3,400. This results in what is clearly a good balance in terms of win and loss rewards.

The update also introduces the new "Looking to Play" feature. With this, players are now able to show themselves as open for party invites. That means they can be invited by other parties from the “Looking to Play” tab of their CS:GO friends list, as well as accept party invites from the CS:GO main menu.

The Danger Zone has also undergone changes with a number of features unlocked like Drone Pilot Tablet, Bonus Wave Money, Bonus Explore Money, and Armor+Helmet as starting item options. In addition, the Drone Pilot upgrade can now be bought from the Tablet Buy Menu.

Another change in Danger Zone is that Tasers automatically open the crate they are fired at and no longer sometimes do partial crate damage.
