Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time for PC is arriving on March 26 and it supports 4K with uncapped framerate. Players who will play using the recommended specs can expect 60 FPS smooth gameplay.

Pre-purchase is already available for $39.99, and players who buy the game digitally get the Totally Tubular Skins.

Time to Play

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time serves as a direct sequel to the original trilogy and is the first installment of the main series in more than 10 years. In this latest addition, Crash, Coco, and their friends return as they go after Neo Cortex and Dr. N. Tropy. The two villains have managed to escape their interdimensional prison and this has resulted in a sized hole in the universe.

The new game continues to offer the same over-the-top action platforming along with some new and interesting features. For example, there are Quantum Masks where characters can get new abilities to beat even the most dangerous of obstacles. Players can also take on different characters aside from the main ones like Doctor Neo Cortex, Dingodile, and even Tawna. Cortex has a raygun that not only can be used to attack but also change enemies into platforms. Tawna has the same moves as Crash and Coco though comes with a grappling hook.

A Trip to the Past

There are also Flashback Tapes that allow players to go back to the original game and try out some truly challenging puzzles. There the N. Verted mode as well offering a twist to the traditional mirror mode.

Happy 25th Year

The first-ever Crash Bandicoot game was released all the way back in 1996, which means it’s celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. In celebration of its silver anniversary, Toys for Bob is giving away the new Bare Bones skins to Crash and Coco. This will be available once the game is released to all players and upon completing the second level.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time was released on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in October 2020. Versions for the next-gen consoles and Nintendo Switch were launched on March 12, 2021. The PC version is set to arrive this March 26.
