A new cartoon series has been announced by Amazon, based on the popular game series Costume Quest. While details are limited as of right now, Amazon has confirmed the series will come from Frederator Studios, the company behind such hits as The Fairly OddParents and Adventure Time.

This news comes from a press release posted on Business Wire. The Costume Quest series will be executive produced by Will McRobb, who has also produced shows like The Adventures of Pete and Pete, Bravest Warriors and Sanjay and Craig. Kevin Kolde and Eric Homan, both from Adventure Time, will also work on the project.

Other details, such as a release date, number of episodes and voice actors for the show haven’t been announced yet. The show will air on Amazon Video, which comes free to those with an Amazon Prime subscription.

In other news, Amazon has also announced a children’s cartoon series based on the Pete the Cat series of books. Also coming to Amazon Video, the Pete the Cat cartoon will be developed by Jeff “Swampy” Marsh, the co-creator of Phineas and Ferb, and feature voice talent from Elvis Costello and Diana Krall.
