The countdown to Captain America: Civil War continues. Anticipation is at an all-time high following the release of a new TV spot that features your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man duking it out with Bucky Barnes, aka the Winter Soldier. It’s just a brief few seconds, but it’s more than enough time to convince us that this new version of Peter Parker is going to be pretty badass.

Take a look at the new Captain America: Civil War TV spot featuring Spider-Man, below:

The new Civil War footage marks just the second occasion Spider-Man has made an appearance in any of the film’s promotional trailers. The first instance (back in March) really delighted fans, but Marvel’s marketing department has really outdone itself this time. Not only do we get a brand new combat scene, but Spidey even offers a substantial line of dialogue: “You have a metal arm?” he playfully asks after effortlessly blocking Bucky’s punch. “That is awesome, dude!”

The new Spider-Man, played by 19-year-old Tom Holland, appears to be the most youthful portrayal of Peter Parker yet. Tobey Maguire's version was far more dour, and while Andrew Garfield in The Amazing Spider-Man certainly brought back the character’s snarkiness, he still looked like an adult. Holland’s rendition seems to be the most faithful to Stan Lee’s original comics, which isn’t surprising considering Sony’s deal handed the creative reigns back to Marvel.

In case you’re wondering why these superheroes are all fighting against each other, here’s a synopsis of Captain America: Civil War courtesy of Marvel : Political pressure mounts to install a system of accountability when the actions of the Avengers lead to collateral damage. The new status quo deeply divides members of the team. Captain America (Chris Evans) believes superheroes should remain free to defend humanity without government interference. Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) sharply disagrees and supports oversight. As the debate escalates into an all-out feud, Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) must pick a side.

Sounds like pretty riveting stuff, right? And the critics are LOVING it as well. Captain America: Civil War is shaping up to be the biggest summer blockbusters in years, and we all can’t wait to see it when it arrives in theaters May 6.
