The system requirements for The Callisto Protocol have already been revealed. However, those specs were for low to mid-range visual settings. The new one provided by developer Striking Distance Studios is for Max and Ultra graphics.

If you want to enjoy Glen Schofield’s latest horror title in all its glory, you better have a powerful PC. Max presets demand either a Ryzen 7 2700x or Core i7-9700k as CPU. For GPU, you should be good with either a Radeon RX 6700 XT or GeForce RTX 2070; 16GB of RAM is a must as well.

Ultra preset is where things go even crazier. CPU goes higher with AMD Ryzen 9 3900x or Intel Core i9-9900k that must be paired with either a Radeon RX 6900 XT or GeForce RTX 3080. Though the RAM requirement is the same as before.

Unfortunately, the developer didn’t show the resolutions or target frame rates for these specs. Check out the specs in more detail below.

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 7 2700x or Intel Core i7-9700k
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT or NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070
  • DirectX: Version 12
  • Storage: 75 GB available (SSD recommended)

As mentioned above, this is only for people that want all the bells and whistles. You can still run the game with weaker hardware but read our previous story for more information.

In other news, The Callisto Protocol isn’t doing so well on Steam. As of writing this article, the game only has a 27% positive rating on the platform and it’s currently tagged “Mostly Negative” with many players blaming technical issues. More information is available in our previous article.
