Adler’s Programming
Russell Adler was hell-bent on stopping Perseus at all cost, but the problem was he got compromised after being captured by Stitch. After some time off the grid, Frank Woods and his team went to find Adler. After his retrieval, they employed the help of Alex Mason, who has extensive knowledge of the “Numbers” programming, having experienced it himself.
After finding out that Adler did some unauthorized things to foil Perseus’ plans, one of which was setting off some seismic charges in Verdansk, this sets the stage for the final showdown.
New Content
There are a couple of new things that you can expect in Season 6. First, there are new points of interest that you can explore thanks to Adler’s unauthorized actions, leveling Verdansk in the process. After the explosion, it was revealed that there were undiscovered bunkers packed with decommissioned German bombs and armaments found in the area.
In addition, the seismic charges have devastated the Stadium and Downtown areas. You can expect to find large cranes on the Stadium while you are greeted by a chaotic mess Downtown as buildings have been toppled due to the blast.
A new Gulag is also coming to Warzone in the upcoming season. It is inspired by the very first trio of 1v1 maps, so those who have played Modern Warfare will be very familiar with the place. Even though the venue has changed, the rules are still the same.
Regiment Transition
Developer Raven Software has disclosed that Regiments will be frozen indefinitely until a new clan-based system is implemented later this year. This means that you can no longer do things, such as creating, managing, or inviting people to your group. So, settle your affairs with your current Regiment.
If you have multiple Regiments, you only have until October 5 to choose which group you want to be considered your active Regiment.
More information about the new clan-based system will be divulged in the future. Also, the developers said that more things will be revealed as Season 6 arrives later this week, including details about new modes and balancing changes.
Call of Duty: Warzone Season 6 will begin on Thursday, October 7. You can download the update at 12 midnight of the same day, so that everything is set before Season 6 starts.
