Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare DLC 4 is called Retribution, and it releases Sept. 12 on PS4. Per the experts at CharlieINTEL , the expansion brings four new multiplayer maps and the final Zombies chapter for this particular narrative.

Before getting to all things undead, however, let’s first talk multiplayer. You can see screenshots of the new maps above.

  • Carnage: It’s a post-apocalyptic race track on the California coast. Highlight features include long sightlines and environmental hazards like a fire trap that activates on demand.
  • Heartland: This reimagined version of Warhawk from Call Of Duty: Ghosts takes players to a simulated version of small-town America. Grab an ice cream at the local eatery and don’t forget to stop by the Black Hole Generator.
  • Altitude: Takes place in an actual sky mall at the edge of the universe. The map has an action-packed center, so quick flanking is key to victory. Floating waterfalls border the map.
  • Depot 22: It’s a mid-size map that focuses on mid-range combat across three lanes. It’s suited for close quarters and fast movement.

As for Zombies, the final chapter in the Infinite Warfare saga is called The Beast From Beyond. Fulfilling teases from the previous expansion , Poindexter, AJ, Andre and Sally continue their trek through the cinematic world of Willard Wyler. This time the crew finds itself aboard a desolate military station in the far reaches of space. To fight the latest batch of infected foes, Infinity Ward has brought some new weapons and traps along for the ride. Considering this is the last chapter, players can also expect some major story reveals too. Watch a trailer for the Zombies content above.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare Retribution is the last piece of DLC for what just might be one of the least liked Call Of Duty games in recent memory. With Call Of Duty: WWII waiting in the wings, it might be the last piece of futuristic content we see from this series for quite some time. Following the positive fan response to 2017’s title, higher-ups at Activision were quick to suggest that more games based on historical settings might be on the way in the coming years.

Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare is available now on PS4, Xbox One and PC. Given Activision’s partnership with Sony, Xbox One and PC players can expect Retribution in October.

‘Call Of Duty: Infinite Warfare’ Review: The Shooter To Skip This Holiday Season
The rise of new properties, like Titanfall and Overwatch, combined with resurgent properties, like Destiny or Battlefield, make it hard to justify the shrinking number of new ideas in Call of Duty. Those who purchased Infinite Warfare on day one may not relate to anything in this article. But those with less fondness for the franchise, or just expecting COD:IW to at least match the quality of Advanced Warfare or Black Ops 3, should probably turn their attention elsewhere.
  • Cool weapons
  • A decent campaign story
  • Zombies is as fun and weird as ever
  • Multiplayer is too much of a grind for good weapons
  • There's not much originality in the entire package.
