Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is launching the next chapter in its Zombies saga beginning July 9 on the PlayStation 4. Titled Alpha Omega, the update marks the return of the Aether story.

Black Ops 4 is also launching its Fourth of July limited special event in the Contraband stream on all platforms. The event features a new earnable Ultra Weapon Bribe, which rewards players with a new range of Black Market weapons and two Reserve Cases. For those who already have a variant of all Black Market weapons, the Ultra Weapon Bribes gives an additional weapon variant.

In addition to this announcement, Black Ops 4 also revealed that the Grav Assault Rifle is now available in MP on all platforms. For this classic weapon, players can customize it through nine available attachments. In addition, the Grav Assault Rifle and attachments are all unrestricted in CWL ruleset for League Play.

Black Ops 4 update 1.18 recently went live, which features Contracts, the addition of the Hacienda Twilight map, and even Medals, among others. One interesting change is the addition of Quickplay Playlists to both Multiplayer and Blackout. The goal of this feature is to lower wait times, especially on the PC. With the playlist, players are now able to place into any lobby that is the closest to being full. This means that players can now jump to a new match as quickly as possible. Details of that update can be viewed here.

Since that update, additional changes done on all platforms are:
