Canadian actor, comedian, and showrunner-slash-producer Seth Rogen has been revealed to be collaborating with "Call of Duty." While Activision Blizzard is known for mostly featuring other games, TV series, or films in the game, it has also dived into bringing famed personalities in the game.
However, this will be one of the first times that "Call of Duty" features an actor in the game.
'Call of Duty's' Next Official Collab: Seth Rogen
The latest announcement from "Call of Duty's" official X account came as a surprise for many as it features a new official collaboration with an actor. Seth Rogen is the next operator skin coming to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 6" as part of the Season 3 Reloaded update that is dropping soon this Thursday, May 1, worldwide.
One of Seth Rogen's skin is called the "Host Rogen Operator" skin, which features a colorful appearance for the actor in his digital soldier persona. There have been previous celebrity cameos and special appearances of artists in the world of "Call of Duty," but they all centered on playing a specific role of characters in its campaign mode.
Moreover, there have also been other crossovers that featured iconic celebrities as operators in different releases of "Call of Duty," but as mentioned earlier, they all have roles that are integral to the game.
In this release, Seth Rogen plays himself and focuses on being the personality who was transformed into an operator skin, without having to reprise a role in its main campaign, the "Zombies" story, or other modes.
Threat level: extremely giggly 😆
