Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 Zombies DLC may be coming soon, according to a new leak from an alleged Spanish retailer that was shared on reddit. User Mau4453 took a photo of what appears to be a note describing a package called Zombies Chronicles.

In the brief description, the product is advertised as a complete game with all content from the original Black Ops 3 plus eight remastered Zombie maps made by Treyarch. Each map in the collection supposedly includes the Gobblegum mechanic from Black Ops 3 that offers players a bevy of persistent perks. The product is listed for PS4 and Xbox One with a placeholder release date of Dec. 31, 2017.

While not quite a full DLC 5, it’s assumed the new content would be accessible to existing Black Ops 3 players as well. The question that remains is whether or not this would be locked behind a season pass or a standalone fee.

While we can’t confirm the rumor itself, the information jives quite nicely with speculation that’s been present in the Call Of Duty community for quite some time. As reported by our friends at International Business Times, the Brazilian voice actor for Richtofen recently said he was at Treyarch laying down new dialogue for the beloved Zombies character. The post was quickly edited to remove the revealing information.

If Richtofen’s actor is involved, that certainly brings plenty of life to any rumors of a Zombies remaster like the one described above. That being said, the source of this new rumor could easily be piggybacking off the prior story to make a more convincing case today. We’re inclined to believe what’s here, but take it with a grain of salt anyway.

At the dawn of 2017, Activision confirmed that Treyarch would continue to support Black Ops 3 with new content. Since then we’ve received a few small DLC drops, but nothing too significant. Legacy Zombies content would obviously be a much bigger deal.

Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is available now on PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.

What do you think of this Zombies Chronicles rumor? Does it count as a true fifth DLC for Black Ops 3? Which maps should it include? Tell us in the comments section!
