Baldur’s Gate 3 was released on Steam two days ago, and it was a big success. The game had over 70,000 concurrent players, which are very impressive numbers as it was only launched in an Early Access state. The game isn’t even complete yet and is still in development.

Just like you would expect from an Early Access game, Baldur's Gate 3 also has some bugs and issues that players have encountered. Developer Larian Studios are also very much aware of this. Today, they released their very first update that addresses some of these issues.

Multiple crash issues have been fixed, including the ones that occurred during character creation and dialogue selection. Items will not overlap anymore in the inventory. You won’t be able to move immovable objects anymore and issues related to the target camera are also fixed. Bugs related to "Pickup" and "Pickup And Add To Wares" inside containers are also resolved.

Larian Studios recommended players to switch to the DX11 version of Baldur's Gate 3 if their game is crashing or not opening. The devs also recommend that players should turn off Steam and Discord overlay if they are encountering lag.

The complete changelog of the hotfix update is mentioned below and on the official site.
