Back 4 Blood just received its first update yesterday, two days after its release. The patch brings a lot of balancing changes, especially to the Swarm. However, it doesn’t bring any new content. Some tweaks to the Campaign mode have been made as well. The update decreased the Roaming Special Spawn rate for all difficulties.

As mentioned above, the Swarm received most of the changes. Bruisers max health is reduced to 800 from the previous 850, and damage is reduced to 15 from 20. His burst delay is increased to three, and the Weakspot multiplier increased to 1.65 from 1.5.

The update has increased the damage done by Tallboy to 20. Hocker Projectile received a major nerf. Its speed is decreased to 2,500, and the cooldown is increased to seven.

The rest of the changes are mentioned below:

October 14 Hotfix

Campaign: This is an attempt to address some of the concerns regarding the challenges presented by some difficulties.

As of this writing, it’s sitting at an 83% positive rating on Steam. You can consider B4B a spiritual successor of the Left 4 Dead franchise. It is made by the same developer.
