Earlier this week, one of the voice actors from the Assassin's Creed franchise sent out a cryptic tweet that had fans asking questions and quickly got the rumor mill turning.

Abubakar Salim, the voice of Bayek in Assassin's Creed Origins, posted a message that began by commenting on society losing their minds during the current global pandemic. He then ended the tweet by saying, "There are some mighty reveals and announcements coming to you all this week."

While we still have no concrete ideas as to what specifically Salim may have been alluding to, the immediate reaction from many fans was one of hope for a sequel to the 2017 game following his character.

Others hoped the tweet could be referring to the upcoming sci-fi drama series Raised by Wolves, which Salim is credited in. Raised by Wolves is currently listed as being in post-production with a currently unspecified 2020 release date. The show is being produced by Ridley Scott, the man behind films like Blade Runner and Alien, and centers around androids raising humans on a mysterious planet.

Since the ambiguous tweet hit social media, the only non-retweet posted by Salim's account shed no light on the pending announcements, and instead urged people to stay inside during the pandemic.

There have been rumors that another title, Assassin's Creed Ragnarok, could be the next entry in the series. However, there have been no official indications as such, and industry insiders have debunked the theory, including Daniel Ahmed, also known as ZhugeEX. If this "mighty" reveal were to involve more from Bayek, it would appear from fan reactions so far that a sequel to the 13th game in the franchise (10th of the main series) would be very welcomed.
