The stage is set for another year at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, 2019 edition. This iteration is shaping up to be one of the biggest the industry will experience, as we are now moving into the next generation of consoles. For this piece, we’re looking at AMD, who is also looking to make further gains in the video game market with the release of their newest 7nm architecture, the Zen 2. Despite not being a game developer, or even a publisher, AMD is a notable player to watch at E3, due to the fact that Zen 2 processors, both CPU and GPU, will be powering the next generation of consoles for both Sony and Microsoft. This is all without even mentioning PC gaming, of which AMD has been making a steady stride as of late due to its very competitive and aggressive price to performance ratios.

What to expect from AMD’s Next Horizon Gaming event at E3 2019

AMD President Dr. Lisa Su will unveil the company’s next generation of AMD gaming products, such as Zen 2 Navi GPU cards and maybe even Ryzen 3000 series chipsets. The event will be hosted by Geoff Keighley, best known for The Game Awards.

What’s even more surprising is that the presentation will also feature several developers showcasing their games running on AMD’s newest products. Expect to see some of the most anticipated titles of the year to be presented at the event.
