The next mainline Aliens game is just around the corner. Aliens: Fireteam Elite will release for all current and last-gen consoles on August 24. The game will also be available on PC on the same date. However, unlike console players, PC players also have to worry about their hardware. The developer has recently released the game’s PC system requirements, and thankfully, they are very reasonable.

The minimum requirements of the game are very low. To run the game at 1080p 30 FPS with the lowest settings, you need an AMD Athlon X4 950 or Intel i5-2500K paired with AMD R9 285 or Nvidia GTX 760 GPU. The GPU should have at least 4 GB of VRAM. Windows 10 64-bit is a must as the game won’t run on older OS.

The recommended hardware is also acceptable. The CPU requirement is increased to AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF or Intel i5-7400. You will need to pair it with AMD RX 480 or Nvidia GTX 1060 GPU. With this hardware, you can run Fireteam Elite at 1080p 60 FPS with high graphics settings.

If you want a 4K resolution, of course, the requirements will increase as well. You can read the complete requirements below.

MINIMUM
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD Athlon X4 950/Intel i5-2500K
  • Memory: 8 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD R9 285 4 GB/Nvidia GTX 760 4 GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 30 GB available space
RECOMMENDED
  • OS: Windows 10
  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF/Intel i5-7400
  • Memory: 16 GB RAM
  • Graphics: AMD RX 480 8 GB/Nvidia GTX 1060 6 GB
  • DirectX: Version 11
  • Storage: 30 GB available space

The requirements are mentioned on the official Steam page. You can also pre-order the game there for only $39.99. However, given how Colonial Marines was, I would recommend that you wait for reviews first.

So what do you think? Are you excited about Aliens: Fireteam Elite? Does your PC meet the requirements? Do you think something else? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
