Winners of the 2023 D.I.C.E Awards have finally been revealed and it’s what most people expected. The year 2022 was great for video games, but in the end, it came down to two behemoth games. Yes, we are talking about God of War Ragnarök and Elden Ring.

Elden Ring grabbed five awards including the prestigious Game of the Year. However, it wasn’t the most awarded game. That honor goes to God of War Ragnarök as it snatched a total of seven awards. Red Matter 2 was the only other game to win multiple awards.

Unfortunately, for Horizon fans, Forbidden West didn’t win a single award even though it received eight nominations. I still think it should have won awards for Animation and Technical Achievement. Double Fine Productions founder Tim Schafer also received much-deserved appreciation as he was presented with the Academy’s Hall of Fame award.
