The smoke has cleared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 CWL London 2019 and standing tall is 100 Thieves. The team is composed of Kenny “Kenny” Williams, Sam “Octane” Larew, Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat, Ian “Enable” Wyatt, and Preston “Priestahh” Greiner, with James “Crowder” Crowder serving as substitute.

With the win, 100 Thieves takes home $125,000 and 25,000 Pro Points.

The team’s journey to the stop started in Group A with OpTic Gaming, Enigma6 Group, and Team Reciprocity. 100 Thieves only lost against OpTic. The results gave 100 Thieves a slot in the Winner’s Bracket. Here they faced eUnited, a team that they swept 3-0. The next round had 100T go against Gen.G, the top finisher of Group B. The match went the distance, with 100T finally taking the win at 3-2. In the next round, 100T again faced off against OpTic. Unlike the Group Stage, 100T won this one and give OpTic its first series of losses. The win gave 100T a slot in the Grand Finals.

OpTic had a strong start, sweeping opponents beginning in the Group Stage and two rounds in the Championship Bracket. The loss to 100T dropped OpTic to the Loser’s Bracket against eUnited. The two teams had faced off in a previous tournament, with OpTic sweeping eUnited. For CWL London 2019, it was a different story. eUnited took map one. While OpTic put up a fight, eUnited continued to have the momentum and won map two for a 2-0 lead. OpTic later fell in map three, with eUnited completing the sweep.

This led to a championship between 100T and eUnited.

In their initial face-off, 100T beat eUnited in the first map, which was Hacienda Hardpoint. 100T again did the same in the Grand Finals, winning on the same map. However, in the Gridlock Search and Destroy map two, eUnited secured the win with their rookie taking the lead.

The third map was Gridlock Control, which was another map that the two had previously played on. Like the previous match, 100T again got the win. The fourth map would be Gridlock Hardpoint. This game was close, but in the end 100T secured the win and the title.

Along with the win, team AR Slayer Octane was declared the tournament MVP.

CWL London 2019 was held in London from May 3 to May 5. A total of 16 teams participated in the tournament. This is the third Major International offline event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
