Xbox Game Pass is getting a new update. This will allow Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S users to pre-load certain games. These games become accessible to players before going live. Pre-loading, in other words, downloads games ahead of the official release. Thus, players get to experience the games early.

Also, the update comes with a new label. This will alert players on whether the game is optimized for the new lineup of Xbox consoles. Players will know too if a particular game is taking advantage of the HDR feature or not.

The Xbox Game Pass already has tons of features that make it one of the best services for gamers. The subscription service has over 100 games that players can download and play. These games include some of the biggest titles like Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Doom Eternal, and The Witcher 3. Recently, EA Play became a part of the service. It gave players access to EA's best franchises like Battlefield, Need For Speed, and Star Wars. This October, Xbox acquired Zenimax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Games. As a result, all current and future Bethesda Games will also be available on Xbox Game Pass on launch day.

If that wasn't enough, the Xbox Game Pass' official Twitter account seems to be teasing a mysterious game that is set to launch on the subscription service. The tweet included an email screenshot that stated "We're not slowing down for December. EA Play is coming to PC and we have a ton of games slated on top of that! We even included (REDACTED), which our fans won't stop mentioning." Fans have been speculating that the mysterious game could be Remedy's Control. However, we'll have to wait and see what this REDACTED game turns out to be.
