Smackdown Live has been the best show in the WWE, while Monday Night Raw is a far second in comparison. Constant action and great storylines has marked the Blue brand’s success as fans are flocking to Tuesday nights instead of Monday.

Sunday is the second Smackdown Live pay-per-view No Mercy. This show is headlined by AJ Styles defending the WWE World Title in a Triple Threat match against Dean Ambrose and John Cena. In addition to that match, there are three other title matches (one may or may not happen) and hopefully a match that will end a feud that has done nothing for either man in the storyline. What will happen at No Mercy? Let’s start this prediction article with the pointless match on the card.

Jack Swagger vs. Baron Corbin

Total throwaway match that should be on the pre-show. No point to this match.

Your winner: Baron Corbin (but does anyone really win watching this match?)

Nikki Bella vs. Carmella

As much as Nikki Bella annoys me, I can not downplay what she has done in her career. The problem is that while she’s trying to continue her career, the WWE are in a “New Era” where there are much better women wrestlers on the roster. Sadly, Carmella is not one of those women as she should have never been called up from NXT. Same skill and annoyance level, but after two months of this feud, it should end at No Mercy.

Your winner: Nikki Bella

Becky Lynch (champion) vs. Alexa Bliss for the Smackdown Women’s Title

This is a match that many people were looking forward to, but according to James McKenna of Pro Wrestling Sheet, Becky Lynch may miss No Mercy and the next month with an undisclosed injury.

Until this match is confirmed, the prediction for this match is incomplete

Heath Slater and Rhyno (champions) vs. The Uso for Smackdown Tag Team Titles

The Slater/Rhyno story has been great, but I have a feeling that The Usos may win the titles to set up a long-term feud against American Alpha. With Rhyno running for political office in Michigan, his time in the WWE may have to stop for a little while, so the belts will change hands.

Your winner and new Tag Champions, The Usos

The Miz (champion) vs. Dolph Ziggler for the Intercontinental Title

Ziggler put his career on the line for The Miz’s title. There has been reports that the WWE really want Ziggler as an backstage agent, so this match could be his last, but rumors are rumors. This match is tough to call because the last three months has been some of The Miz’s best work of his career but Ziggler is backed in a corner. I’m going with Ziggler in this one.

Your winner and new Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler

Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt

This whole feud has been pointless and with no real direction. The problem is that Wyatt never wins, so you can’t take the character seriously. No matter what, he will lose the big match. The WWE creative team should have Wyatt win this match and end this feud...but that probably won’t happen because Vince McMahon loves Orton. And since Orton is most likely next in line for a title shot, you can almost bank on Randy hearing voices and winning.

Your winner, Randy Orton

A.J. Styles (champion) vs. John Cena vs. Dean Ambrose for the WWE World Title

If you haven’t seen Smackdown Live from Thursday, the final ten minutes is priceless. Not much Cena talking but a lot of real talk from both Styles and Ambrose about Cena. This feud between these three has gotten personal as everyone is pulling from real-life complaints about each other as the intensity of this match will be high at No Mercy. Styles appears to be the long-term champion on Smackdown Live as Cena and Ambrose will be leaving to soon to film projects. This should be a great match.

Your winner and still World Champion, AJ Styles
