Warframe, the highly successful third-person multiplayer online shooter developed by Digital Extremes, has received its latest expansion not long ago. In fact, several updates have already been released to address some issues with the Angels of the Zariman expansion. However, the game suffers from a major problem that needs fixing as soon as possible.

What’s the Problem?

Before we begin, you need to learn some terms to better understand the situation. In Warframe, different Focus Schools provide you with some buffs and utilities. One of those schools is Zenurik, which is best used for caster Warframes because it has better energy regeneration over the others.

Now, Zenurik has multiple nodes you can unlock, but the only node you need to be aware of for this article is Inner Might. This particular node allows abilities to be cast without using Energy or Shields, but it has a cooldown that decreases depending on its current level.

So, the issue then. According to Redditor @ dotGarr, builds using the Blind Rage mod with the Inner Might node unlocked when using Zenurik suffer from increased energy costs when casting abilities. The Redditor suspects that this issue is due to Inner Might possibly amplifying the negative efficiency from Blind Rage.

It looks like this has become a widespread issue, considering that many are affected by this. Redditor @Master_Sosuke said that they’ve been playing a Nekros build with Shadows of the Dead as its main ability. However, they cannot cast it without waiting because Inner Might has increased the energy cost of the ability from 155 to 240.

Another Redditor said that this issue is jarring, considering that some builds are specifically made with reducing high energy costs in mind.

Since this problem has affected many people, it is possible that someone has already reported it to the dev team. But what can you do in the meantime? Well, @dotGarr said that the only workaround, for now, is to use a different focus school until DE has issued a fix. Perhaps the developers can also add a way to turn specific focus school nodes off in a future update?

Has your Warframe been experiencing some energy problems lately? If so, what did you do to address it?

Warframe is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
