Valorant has been out for over a week now and the game has improved a lot from what we saw during the beta. Developer Riot Games added in a ton of content updates such as a new agent, a new map, and a new game mode with Valorant’s full launch. With 11 agents available to use, the game is a bit challenging for players who haven’t played before.

Brimstone is a heavy support agent and requires time and effort to master. Your main objective as Brimstone is to cut off rotations and clear sites, which can bring the advantage to your team. Brimstone has four special abilities: Stim Beacon, Incendiary, Sky Smoke, and Orbital Strike.

Stim Beacon:

Brimstone’s first ability is Stim Beacon. Basically, you throw a beacon on the floor and when you are within the radius of the beacon, your agent gets a small fire rate increase, reload and weapon swap speed bump, and less recoil. You can purchase up to two Stims per round and they are very situational. We recommend that you use them before you push out a corner or if you are executing a site.

Incendiary:

Brimstone’s second ability is Incendiary. It basically equips an Incendiary Launcher which fires a Molotov that explodes as soon as it reaches the ground. It deals quite a lot of damage, but you only get to purchase one every round. You can use it to clear corners or even sites where your opponents hold an angle on you.

Sky Smoke:

Brimstone’s third ability is Sky Smoke. This is his gadget which requires the most skill to learn and you need a lot of map knowledge to be able to use it properly. His smokes can be used in multiple ways such as: clearing areas, smoking a site, rushing, and even blocking line of sight. You can smoke Main and Heaven sites on the map Bind and at the same time push into the site, getting full control. Watch out though, as the smoke can work to your disadvantage if you use it wrong.

Orbital Strike:

Brimstone’s ultimate ability is Orbital Strike. This gadget opens up the map and allows Brimstone to fire a laser beam wherever he marks on the map. The laser beam covers a small portion of the map and lasts several seconds while dealing tons of damage to enemies. This ultimate is mainly used when you are pushing into a site and you know the enemy position. It's best to save the ultimate until you have information on the enemy’s position. Learning this ultimate, and how to use it to its fullest potential, will take some time.
