Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora released its “First Look Trailer” which pretty much highlights what the Snowdrop engine brings to the table. It also gives us a quick peek at what the game has to offer.

The game is based on the film franchise Avatar . While there has only been one released film so far, back in 2009, a total of four sequels have been announced. The next film is set to be released in December 2022 with every subsequent film then launched every two years until 2028.

Before we continue, take a look at the trailer below:

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person action-adventure game that expands the Avatar universe. In the game, players take on the role of a Na’vi and take on a journey to the Western Frontier, a region of Pandora that has never been explored. Players get to explore and interact with a world populated by new characters along with unique creatures. Also, there’s the fight against the Resources Development Administration to protect the region.

Trailer Details

The trailer has shown the lush, beautiful, and all too familiar jungle scene. Then, it shifts to the Na’vi and their banshee with the background showing the signature floating mountains of the planet. There are also new and different flora and fauna.

After showing us a peaceful setting, the trailer then gives us a look at a Na’vi community. That said, amidst all the beauty lies the RDA facility with its various military equipment ready to be used at a moment’s notice. There are the Amplified Mobility Platform and the Samson and Scorpion gunships.

Based on the trailer, if that is what the game has to offer, then it’s sure to make any Avatar fans happy.

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora is scheduled to be released on PC, next-gen consoles Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5. It will also be available on Google Stadia and Amazon Luna. The game is being developed by Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment in partnership with Lightstorm Entertainment and Disney.
