Fallout: New Vegas developer Obsidian Entertainment and Pillars of Eternity publisher Paradox Interactive’s upcoming PC RPG Tyranny has announced its release date of Nov. 10 in its new launch trailer, as well as a bevy of info about pre-orders and game editions.

Tyranny has a lot of buzz going due to its novel concept: you star as the villain, or rather, a high-ranking official representative of the evil overlord. The armies of Kyros have triumphed and evil has already won. You can double down on villainy and make sure your iron fist closes over the countryside, casting a vortex of oppression and sorrow from which the puny peasantry may never be free… or you can decide to pursue sunshine and sparkles and freedom.

Kyros doesn’t care if you use your powers as judge and executioner to inspire fear or loyalty, as long as they obey Kyros’ Law. And you can break from Kyros for an entirely new gameplay experience. Tyranny features real-time combat with pause enabled, branching stories and a lot of replayability.

However you choose to play, Tyranny’s premise sounds fun as hell. Give it up for the villains and check out Tyranny’s launch trailer below:
