The upcoming game Total War: MEDIEVAL II is coming out on April 7. It’s going to be available on Android and iOS. By the way, this isn’t a free game and it’s priced at $14.99.

iOS players can now pre-order the game here. Meanwhile, those on Android must pre-register here.

The game offers a good mix of intricate turn-based strategies and real-time battles. It’s set in the Middle Ages and spread across three continents. Players get to experience conflicts and scheming rivals in their journey for supremacy. There are different ways to become a ruler, be it diplomacy or through conquest.

Here are some of the game features:

  • 17 playable factions to build into major world powers using statecraft, cunning, and all-out warfare.
  • Huge real-time battles featuring infantry, archers, and cavalry. All wielding a full range of authentic medieval weaponry.
  • More nuanced settlement management, additional agents to conduct state affairs, and more sophisticated campaign mechanics to forge alliances or destabilize rivals.
  • A campaign map spanning Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East – and even the shores of the New World – through four centuries of competition, combat, and conquest.
  • A new intuitive user interface and refined touch controls for fingertip control of the battlefield.
