New Batman DLC Leaked Ahead Of Telltale's Next Announcement

There could be more Telltale's Batman if these leaks are true
There could be more Telltale's Batman if these leaks are true Telltale

It looks like Telltale has some news coming during San Diego Comic-Con, and it looks Batman-related thanks to a leak on a New Zealand website. While this information should be considered a rumor until Telltale makes an official announcement, it certainly seems like a pretty big coincidence that this news is lining up together.

As seen in the tweet above, Telltale definitely has something to announce during Comic-Con. To keep us all guessing, Telltale didn’t mention anything else. While this could be for a number of different games, it seems smart to make a comic book-related announcement during Comic-Con. Unfortunately for Telltale, that’s about half the games the company makes.

A comic-related Telltale announcement could be about The Walking Dead, Guardians of the Galaxy, Batman, The Wolf Among Us or something completely new. Based on other clues, it seems this announcement will be about Batman, but there’s still hope for The Wolf Among Us Season 2 to be announced.

The major clue pointing to Batman comes from the Film And Video Labelling Body website. This organization rates games and movies in New Zealand. According to the site, a game called Batman: The Enemy Within is referenced, directed by Kent Mudle. Mudle is a director at Telltale Games who has previously directed Telltale’s Batman episodes.

That’s pretty conclusive evidence. Even if the FVLB is jumping the gun with this posting, the clues that this is a video game directed by Mudle is pretty much all we need to know. That said, listings have proven to be fake in the past, so it’s best to wait for Telltale’s official announcement before getting too far on the hype train.

For those who want more Fables , the tweet above from Telltale was retweeted by Adam Harrington, the voice actor for Bigby in The Wolf Among Us. This could be because Harrington is excited and wants to support Telltale, or it’s possible Harrington will be in the new Batman episodes. Telltale frequently uses the same voice actors for different roles, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see Harrington playing a new character in a different game.

So what do you think? Are you excited to see more Batman from Telltale? Would you rather see a new season of a different game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
