After its announced release window of December, Nintendo has confirmed new details for Super Mario Run for iOS, including its release date and price.

Super Mario Run for iPhone and iPad will come to the App Store on Dec. 15 and fans can immediately download the first Nintendo mobile game for free.

“The wait is almost over for a Super Mario game that can be played on mobile devices,” said Doug Bowser, Nintendo of America’s senior vice president of sales and marketing said in a press release. “Developed under the direction of Mario creator Shigeru Miyamoto, Super Mario Run brings a new take on the series’ beloved action-platforming gameplay to iPhone and iPad for the first time.”

Downloading Super Mario Run for free will give players access to try all three game modes but if you want to gain unlimited access, there’s a one-time payment of $9.99.

Super Mario Run is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.0 or later. Starting on Dec. 15, the game will launch in 151 countries and regions. Super Mario Run supports English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian and traditional Chinese language options.

The Android release for Super Mario Run has not been announced but it is coming so keep checking back with iDigitalTimes for updates.
