Everyone is jumping on the hype that is Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, and that includes pinball enthusiasts. A new expansion to Star Wars Pinball will be coming next week featuring two new boards inspired by The Force Awakens. Check out the trailer below for more information.
The first table is the Star Wars: The Force Awakens table. This one will see players team up with the Resistance to fight against the First Order. The table will feature an all-new transformation mechanic that will change the table to show some of the biggest scenes from the movie. There will be 12 action-packed story modes released with this table.
The second table is the Might of the First Order table. This one sees players put in command of the First Order. With this massive power, players must expand their force to other planets across the galaxy. This table will feature an innovative two-level playfield as well as a magnetic upside-down ramp. Sounds intense.
Both tables will be released in the Star Wars: The Force Awakens Pack, and will be available to download during the week of Jan. 12. The pack will be available on all devices, including PS3, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, Steam, Windows 10, iOS, Android, and Amazon devices. Of course, players will need the base Star Wars Pinball game first to be able to play the new tables.
