Star Trek Online Invites You to the First Contact Day Celebration

Go back to where everything began.
Go back to where everything began. Perfect World

It’s that time of the year again when Captains in Star Trek Online celebrate the event that started everything. The First Contact Day celebration starts April 5 and ends April 26. This is available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.

As part of the celebration, players can go against four others to build and launch their very own Phoenix Rocket. Players can also go back in time to April 4, 2063, and stop the Borg from preventing the event from happening. Then, there is the recreation of the Synth attack on Mars.

For the duration of the celebration, any activity grants Daily Progress once a day toward the Grand Prize. It’s none other than the Combat Pet, the A600 Android. The A600 series was developed for Androids to not only be strong but also efficient. Their primary programmed directives were mainly repairing devices and electronics as laborers.

However, they were banned for a time in the Federation as a result of the attack on Mars. This particular model, mostly preserved in its historical state, has been hardened against hacking attempts.

Here are the other activities that players can enjoy:

  • Manufacturing Dissent
    • The Synth Wave returns. The Synths working on Mars have rebelled.
    • Fight in orbit above the red planet and work with a team of fellow Captains to do as much good as possible before the Synth Wave TFO begins.
  • Visit Historical Bozeman
    • The Borg has not stopped their advance and this time, the battlefield is not just across space but also time.
    • Temporal abnormalities have prompted Daniels to slap together an away team to go back to mid-21st century Earth.
    • Team up with Seven-of-Nine and discover what the Borg have done to alter the timeline and then do everything you can to correct it.
    • Be sure not to do more damage to the timelines than the Borg already have.
  • Modeling Rocketry
    • Those not in the mood to fight can join the Phoenix Rocket Launch competition.

Finally, during the celebration, players can buy the First Contact Day Bundle which contains:

  • 1x Captain Specialization Point (cannot reclaim)
  • 25,000 Dilithium Ore (cannot reclaim)
  • “Launch Toy Rocket” Social Device (Account Unlock)
  • Holo-Emitter – Phoenix Shuttle (Account Unlock)
