Square Enix Announces Lineup Of Games And Schedules For Tokyo Game Show 2019

As Gamescom came to a close last week, preparations and announcements for gaming’s next big event have started surface. This time around, it’s for the Japanese audience, as the 2019 iteration of the Tokyo Game Show has started to reveal its many surprises for attendees of one of Asia’s biggest gaming events.

Kicking things off on the major publisher side is one of Japan’s biggest gaming companies, Square Enix, who will be having a pretty busy next few months thanks to some high-profile releases. The company has opened their official TGS 2019 website here where they detail their lineup of titles for the big gaming event, as well as a detailed stage schedule for their various programs (translation courtesy of Gematsu).

Square Enix Main Lineup

  • Dragon Quest X: Ibara no Miko to Horobi no Kami Online – released for the PlayStation 4, Switch, Wii U, 3DS and the PC. To be showcased at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition – to be released for the Switch, and playable at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Final Fantasy VII Remake – to be released for the PlayStation 4, and playable at the Mega Theater
  • Final Fantasy XIV Online – released for the PlayStation 4, PC and Mac, and is playable at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Final Fantasy: Brave Exvius – released for iOS and Android devices and on PC. To be showcased at the Studio.
  • Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition – to be released for the PlayStation 4, Switch, and iOS and Android devices. Playable at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Imperial SaGa: Eclipse – to be released for browsers on PC and smartphones, and showcased at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Marvel’s Avengers – to be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia. Showcasing at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent – to be released for iOS and Android devices, and will be showcased at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Romancing SaGa 3 – to be rereleased for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch PlayStation Vita, PC, and iOS and Android devices. Showcasing at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Romancing SaGa Re: Universe released for iOS and Android devices. Showcasing onstage.
  • Star Ocean: First Departure R – releasing for the PlayStation 4 and Switch, and showcasing at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Trials of Mana – to be released for the PlayStation 4, Switch and PC, and showcasing at the Mega Theater and onstage.
  • Tropico 6 – to be released for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and showcasing at the Mega Theater and Studio.
  • War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius – to be released for iOS and Android devices, and showcasing at the Mega Theater.

  • Dragon Quest Builders 2 for the PlayStation 4 and Switch

Showcasing at the e-Sports X Stage

  • Dragon Quest Rivals for the Switch, PC and iOS and Android devices.

Misc.
