Activision Blizzard released a new card collecting mobile game, Skylanders Battlecast, which appears to be a kid-friendly knock-off of their hit game, Hearthstone.

For people who have played other Skylanders games, getting ahead in Battlecast requires buying real-world items – in this case, collectible playing game cards. The mobile game is available for both iOS and Android devices and includes a detailed tutorial to walk you through the kinds of cards and characters available. Players can collect 24 different character card, that when scanned, become a 3D version of themselves in the game, doling out and taking damage to their person. Besides the character cards, packs of cards may also include Spell, Gear and Relic cards players use to attack enemies, heal characters or modify gameplay in some other way. Like in Hearthstone, you’ll use a deck of 30 cards, which combines 3 characters, spells, gear and relics. Each turn you have a certain amount of Mana or gems you can use to play cards. The goal is to eliminate your enemy before he or she eliminates you.

According to the Battlecast official website, there are over 300 cards players can collect by purchasing Battle Packs which are $9.99 for 22 cards or Booster Packs, which are $4.99 for 8 cards. These cards are then scanned into the app for use in the game. There are four levels of cards you can collecting including common, rare, epic and ultimate cards. If you don’t want a whole bunch of physical cards hanging around, you can purchase digital packs in the game also.

So what kinds of cards can you find in the Battlecast Battle and Booster Packs? While we haven’t uncovered all of the over 300 cards, we’ve scoured the web and found some players revealing cards they’ve discovered so far. We’ve listed those below. As more cards are discovered we’ll add them to the list.
