The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is officially launching worldwide on March 3. Based on the Nanatsu no Taizai manga, the game is being released and available to both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. Pre-registration is now being accepted.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross was already released in Japan last year and has since proved to be a huge success. The game's official website also shows that it has been released in Korea as well. In a press statement the upcoming worldwide release already has pre-registrations numbering over than 1 million. This isn't much of a surprise considering the fan base the manga and the anime has built.

By pre-registering to the game, players receive rewards like having Meliodas and his costume even before the official release. Once the game is officially launched, those who pre-register get in-game currency along with an exclusive box that offers different in-game items.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross lets players battle through a card-based combat format. Players can choose three units along with a support before going to battle. Units are divided into four types. The first units are the R units which can only reach up to level 30, while the SR units can go as high as level 40. Even higher are the SSR units, which are capped at level 50, while the highest ones are UR units. These can reach up to level 60. It's also possible to evolve R units SR ones, which can then evolve to SSR and finally get to the final form.

There are different ways to get units, though the most common one is to summon them. However, there are others that can only be obtained after the player finishes certain arcs. For example, the Heart of Earth Diane version can be obtained after completing the Forest of White Dream arc. However, in order for players to have a chance to get the Sin of Envy Diane, they need to finish the final battle of the Vaizeel Fighting Festival arc.

By now it's clear that The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross's story mode follows the events of the anime. As such, it includes the complete Holy Knights saga along with some in the Ten Commandments saga. Further updates are going to add other arcs. There are also side stories and even original story arcs to be offered as well.

While it is indeed exciting to know that a Nanatsu no Taizai game is going to be released, hopefully The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is not going too much of a pay-to-win game.
