Samsung’s next flagship phablet could be announced Aug. 2 if recent reports are to be believed. On Monday, tech blog SamMobile shared the alleged press invite to Samsung’s launch event, which says the device will be announced at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York on the first Tuesday in August. Samsung also launched the Galaxy Note 5 at this location in mid-August 2015.

The caption on the invite reads: “The next edge is right around the corner.” The invite also includes a “Z”-like design that could also be representative of the number 7, for Galaxy Note 7. Though next in the Galaxy Note numbering sequence is six, rumors reiterate that Samsung may call the upcoming device the Galaxy Note 7.

This supposed invite is just one of many Galaxy Note 7 leaks that have surfaced recently. Another leak , first reported on Saturday, included the caption “Write on the edge of something great.” Some previously leaked teasers suggest the Galaxy Note 7 may have a curved edge display and the invite may back up that claim.

While the recently leaked invite looks a lot more official than the teasers leaked over the past days and weeks, it does not appear to be of top Samsung quality. However, the quality distortion could be due to the fact that the image is a photograph of a computer screen. At this time, Samsung has not commented on any launch plans for upcoming premium smartphones. The manufacturer has yet to send press invites for an Unpacked event in August.

If the Galaxy Note 7 is announced in early August, it is possible the device could go on sale sometime in mid-August. The Galaxy Note 5 was announced Aug. 13 of last year and released Aug. 21.

Hardware rumors for the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 include a 5.8-inch Quad HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 chip, 6GB of RAM and a 12-megapixel camera with f/1.7 aperture.
